DESCRIPTION

If you expect the best when choosing your vacation accommodation, you most certainly will appreciate the private, very peaceful location, far-reaching views and exceptional comforts of 'Sandpipers'.  The huge 30 x 15 ft heated swimming pool & in-ground spa await you sparkling in the sunshine, with a superb aspect over miles and miles of Conservation Wetlands. The extra-large extended deck area faces both south & west, so you can enjoy maximum sun AND the spectacular Florida sunsets. 'Sandpipers' offers many upgrades to enhance your vacation enjoyment.  And with 3000sq ft of living space, "Sandpipers" is one of the largest 5 bedroom villas you can rent in the area, so however big your party is, you will never feel cramped.

As owners we visit at least three times a year to ensure everything at "Sandpipers" is kept completely up-to-date and maintained to our very high standards.  Expect to find high quality fixtures and fittings, plus many other touches unusual for a vacation home.  

Location

"Sandpipers" is set in one of the best positions at Weston Hills, a small, exclusive, gated community located on US27, exactly 3 miles north of its junction with the 192. As you drive through the coded gates you will notice how beautifully kept everything is with a tree-lined avenue & well maintained flower borders. Weston Hills is very quiet with a high proportion of residential, rather than solely vacation homes, and unlike at some of the villa communities, there is no new building work to disturb your relaxation.

Orlando International Airport is about a 45 minutes drive, Sanford Airport is about 1 hour 15 minutes.  Weston Hills within just a few  minutes drive from excellent local amenities (shopping, 24 hr pharmacies, banks and restaurants). The Atlantic beaches, the Kennedy Space Center and the Gulf of Mexico are less than 1.5 hour's drive.  Universal Studios, Sea World and Wet 'n Wild are around 30 minutes drive, as are the two fantastic shopping malls, Mall Millenia and Florida Mall. The Disney Theme Parks are just 10-15 mins away. There are numerous Golf Courses within easy reach.

Facilities

"Sandpipers" is beautifully furnished and equipped to meet the needs of our most discerning guests.  It is fully air conditioned with ceiling fans in all living areas for your extra comfort.  The spacious Living Room contains an elegant sofa, love seat and chaise, together with a large professional slate bed billiard table.  On into the very large Family Room, which overlooks the pool and conservation area.  This cool, ceramic tiled room contains three large sofas and an armchair.  There is a 52 inch TV with cable and HBO, plus DVD & CD players for your entertainment.  The Dining Area overlooks the pool and lies between the Family Room and the spacious Kitchen.  This is more than adequately equipped for catering for up to 10 guests, with a large self-cleaning gas oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave oven.  To the rear of the Family Room is a Powder Room, and a Laundry Room with large washing machine and super-efficient gas dryer.  There is ample car parking (2 cars in the garage, 2 on the driveway), and the garage has an automatic opener for your convenience.  All 5 bedrooms are upstairs - there is a King bed, 2 Queen beds, 3 single beds and a double (full) bed.  One of the twin bedrooms contains the personal computer and X-Box games console (bring or hire your own games).   There are three-ensuite bathrooms, two of which can also be accessed from the corridor for the users of the other two bedrooms if required.

Pool & Deck Area

We have installed a special environmentally friendly cleaning system for the pool which uses salt, rather than chlorine.  This has many benefits, like no more sore eyes or bleached clothing, and the slightly salty water feels beautifully soft!

The secluded, extra-large extended south and west facing deck gives you the benefit of enjoying maximum sun AND the spectacular Florida sunsets. Screening, planting and no rear neighbours ensure privacy. If you need to escape the sun’s rays, the spacious lanai provides plenty of cover & has a ceiling fan for extra cooling. This is a fabulous place to enjoy an al fresco lunch or dinner - or even to check your e-mails on your wireless enabled laptop as you sip a cold beer!  More than enough luxury pool furniture is provided for your comfort, including ten arm chairs, three tables, six recliners, and three umbrellas.  Tropical planting & garden lighting create a special ambience at night.

Relax and enjoy the far-reaching views over Conservation Wetlands.  You will feel a million miles away from the hustle & bustle of the theme parks and shopping malls. An abundance of wildlife may be seen and heard.  We've provided a pair of binoculars and a reference book for identifying the various birds and other creatures you might spot.

A child-safety alarm is fitted to the sliding door opening to the pool area. Smoke-detectors, a carbon-monoxide detector, fire-extinguishers & emergency lighting have been installed for your safety & peace of mind.
