DESCRIPTION
'Still
Waters', our beautiful, spacious lakefront villa is a perfect vacation choice if you
appreciate peace and tranquillity in luxurious surroundings, yet want the convenience of being as close as
possible to the Orlando Theme Parks, shopping & Golf Courses. The view of the
lake from the south-facing pool, spa and deck is incomparable .... when you sit outside sipping a cool
drink in the evening, watching the sun go down and then seeing the moon rise
over the lake,
you will find it hard to believe that you are a mere 4 miles from the main
gates of Disney and the lively Highway 192. With over 2600 sq ft of living
space, this is one of the largest 4 bedroom
vacation homes you can rent in the area (most other 4 bedroom villas are only
1700-1900 sq feet) - so there is ample
room for two couples or families to holiday together in comfort - especially as
the two huge King Master Suites have identical bathroom facilities.

Lakes is a small, upscale gated community and is one of the closest to Orlando's
main attractions. It is a beautifully maintained development of detached pool homes surrounding
two natural lakes, which attract many varieties of fish and wildlife. Unlike
at some of the villa communities, there is no new building work to disturb your
relaxation.
Our luxurious home is literally minutes away from many Golf Courses, restaurants and
supermarkets. Getting to and from the Theme Parks is easy with this ideal
location. You really can visit the parks in the morning, spend the afternoons
relaxing by your own private pool and return to the parks in minutes.
Within the community there is a communal pool and children’s play area, and if
you bring your rods (or buy cheaply in the local Wal-Mart!), you may fish in the well-stocked lake. Conservation
land adjoins the development creating a natural habitat for the wildlife of
Florida. You may spot cranes, bald eagles, ducks, buzzards, racoons &
armadillos, plus many other small song birds.
Orlando International Airport
can be reached in about 30 minutes, Sanford Airport in about one hour.
Sunset Lakes is within a few minutes drive of local amenities (supermarket,
24 hr pharmacy, bank and lots of restaurants).
The Atlantic beaches, the Kennedy Space Center and the Gulf of Mexico are approx. 1 hour's
drive.
Universal Studios, Sea World and Wet 'n Wild are around 20 minutes away, as are
the two fantastic shopping malls, Mall Millenia and Florida Mall.
Walt Disney World is only 4 miles!
There are numerous Pay & Play Golf
Courses within a very short drive.
Facilities
"Still
Waters" is a highly upgraded, exceptionally comfortable villa. The
home has cool ceramic tiled floors in the Family Room, Kitchen & Bathrooms,
whilst the Living/Games Area & all bedrooms are fully carpeted. It is air-conditioned with ceiling fans in all bedrooms
& living areas for your extra comfort. The galleried Family
Room has lovely squashy sofas & an ottoman stool, and is equipped with a large flat
screen colour cable television, DVD & CD players. Sliding glass doors open to
the pool deck. The Living Room/Games Area is furnished with two additional sofas and
a full-size professional slate bed pool table. There are two huge Master
Bedroom Suites
which are ideal if two families or couples are renting the villa. One is on the ground floor,
with direct access to the pool deck (ideal for those who may find the stairs
tricky). The other is on the upper floor, with lovely south-facing views over the
lake. Both Master Suites have King-size beds, walk-in closets
& exceptionally large bathrooms with twin vanities, full size oval bath, walk-in shower
& separate
toilet. Two further bedrooms upstairs both have two single beds in each &
share the third bathroom. This bathroom has vanity, bath with shower over, and a
toilet. A Powder Room is located on the ground floor. The
open-plan luxury Kitchen with Granite worktops & the Dining
Area are adjacent to the Family Room and overlook
the pool and lake. There is a separate Laundry room with a large washer and dryer.
Parking for 2 cars on the driveway and 1 car in the Garage, which has an
automatic door opener.
Pool and deck
The
lovely private south-facing heated swimming pool has been specially
designed with a small water feature & tropical planting to create a very pleasing scene overlooking the
lake. The whole pool & deck area is mesh screened to let the sun in but keep the
bugs out. Electric pool heating is available for the cooler months, but is optional May - September. The pool measures
approx. 28 x 15 feet, so you can swim or just enjoy splashing
about. Atmospheric garden lighting creates a special ambience as darkness falls.
A luxurious hydrotherapy Hot Tub/Spa is available for our
guests' enjoyment. With its 18 adjustable high performance jets, 7
multi-level seats and underwater multicolour lighting, soaking in the hot
swirling water is truly a pleasure after a long day at the theme parks,
sightseeing or shopping.
The pool & spa are maintained regularly by our Management Company.
The extended deck area contains ample luxury pool lounging furniture,
together with tables & chairs for al fresco dining. Two umbrellas & the large lanai with
ceiling fan provide protection from the sun if required. A George Forman electric BBQ/grill is
provided for our guests to use.
Other facilities
Our
home has the benefit of free high speed wireless internet so bring your lap top
if you need to keep in touch by e-mail or don't want to miss your eBay auctions! You can make free local phone calls from the house, if calling
long distance you can buy an inexpensive pre-paid phone card from the supermarkets or
pharmacies. There is a TV & DVD player in each bedroom, plus a
Sony
Playstation2 games console in one of the twins (bring or hire your own
games). For your peace
of mind, we have installed a safe for guests' small valuables & the house is fitted with a monitored Brinks Security System. A Cot(crib), High Chair, Stair
guard & Stroller are provided free of
charge if required. A child-safety alarm is fitted to all the doors
opening to the pool area. Smoke-detectors, fire-extinguishers & emergency
lighting have been installed for your safety & peace of mind.
